Over the course of the 2019-20 school year, I did my best at keeping a professional teaching attire that was both up to date and comfortable. I thought that it would be fun to share with you what I wore during my first year of teaching.

In reflection, I became overwhelmed with keeping up with Social Media while trying to keep my head above water during my first year. I think next year, I will set up some habits that will help me stay more active online. Teachers need community and motivation to keep going!

Unknowingly, this was my last what I wore picture for the 2019-20 school year. Just 4 weeks later, I spent the last day in school with my students and Spring Break arrived. Only to never return due to COVID-19.
This was a lot of fun, going through my Instagram posts and seeing all of the cute combinations I created. I hope you enjoyed it too and it inspires you to find comfortable, up to date, professional attire to wear when we return to school. Please comment below with your thoughts, I would love to know what you think!

Going forward, you will see more What I Wore posts here on my blog and on Social Media. Until then – a latte of blessings & sparkles,

This is fun. I have often kept a photographic record of what I’ve worn – mostly because I hate to repeat outfits. Congrats on finishing your first year. They’re not all like this 🙂

Thank you. I am hoping to inspire myself to try new things and wear pieces that are lost in my closet somewhere. I find I get in a rut and wear like the same 7 or so outfits on repeat.
