Never allow waiting to become a habit. Live your dreams and take risks. Life is happening now.
Paulo Coehlo
For many years, I sat around waiting for something to happen in order to start living out my dreams; my next birthday, the new month, the new year, when I get a job, when the kids are older, when I have a house, when I have more money, the next, when I ….. But then in 2014, I chose not to wait anymore. I chose not to sit around and wait realizing that life was passing me by. My youngest child was 5 and about to start Kindergarten, my role as a mom was about to change forever. I went back to school to become a teacher’s assistant and later stretched my goal to live out my lifelong dream of becoming a teacher. Here, my self confidence grew as I accepted a job as a middle school Science & Social Studies teacher before I graduated from the ISU Education program in 2019.
Over the last year, I have been living my life as a middle school teacher and celebrated the completion of my first year of teaching this last week – becoming a #stjdreamcatcher. So what do I do next?
I continue to grow as a wife, mom, and teacher – as well as begin a new goal. This one is a bigger risk. It is one that I have started and stopped, started and stopped, started and stopped for as long as I can remember. I am to pursue my life as a writer and speaker. I want to share my passion for being a wife, mom, and teacher with others.
I start with coffeegirl.blog Here I will percolate on my own experiences and then pass on inspirational stories, ideas, and tips along to you! I do not come to you as an expert, just a willingness to grow alongside you as we find our best personal center while serving the people in our lives; husband, children, and students.
What are you dreaming of? What can you do right now to live out your dream and take a risk? I encourage you to not wait until your next or when … Please share your dreams and goals in the comments below. I cannot wait to see what you have brewing in your life. I will be posting a quote each Monday. Until next time – a latte of blessings & sparkles,
Right now my biggest dream is to be able to take my children and travel the world, it’s obviously on hold right now with everything going on but I look forward to when were able to do so

My current goal is the focus on being a better mother to my kids. I always try my best but recently I’ve had so much going on with work and homeschooling that I haven’t had as much patience for them.

My biggest goal right now is to create a group for all aspiring freelancers and provide a free space for them where they can learn social media management and marketing. Every day is definitely a new beginning.

Congratulations on finishing your first year as a middle school teacher. I teach 8th grade and love it. Hint: You can always offer bonus points to students who find mistakes in your blog. It works well.

Without risk, there is no result. So I took the risk of leaving my stressful but high earning corporate job, and live a slow lifestyle here in Australia. I never been happier 🙂
