Does the title Mock McGriddle make you think of Mockolate from F.R.I.E.N.D.S? I think of that crummy synthetic chocolate substitute everytime we make this delicious brunch.
I absolutely love McDonalds McGriddles; however I find them a little too greasy and a tad salty for my taste buds so I am incredibly happy that I found a recipe that I adapted from Food.com
What you will need:
- baking powder
- maple syrup crystals (amazon.com)
- sausage or bacon
- cheddar cheese
What you will need to do:
- Head on over to Food.com and follow the directions for their Mock McGriddle recipe. If you use the maple syrup crystals on amazon you will not need to make them as listed. I found this to be a more simpler step AND the crystals taste great in oatmeal.
- Tip: I used a biscuit cutter to make each item the same size and it was easier to cook and eat!
