Shushing the Negative

July 20, 2020January 17, 2021 CoffeeGirl.Blog

I believe, that when we are courageous, create a plan, and follow through we will be known as determined, and the negatives will be silenced. This process may have to occur more than one time and the negative voices may never stop as we continue to take on more risks and follow our hearts desire.

A Song for My Girl

July 9, 2020January 17, 2021 CoffeeGirl.Blog

At the time, I had sang Take Me Out to the Ball Game to my boys before going to sleep for 10 years. So, I was inspired to find the perfect song to sing to Lily when she arrived. I could not find one. I was so excited to finally have a girl of my own, so I decided to write my own. With the boys permission I am used the tune of their song.

Faithful in Little Things

July 6, 2020January 17, 2021 CoffeeGirl.Blog

Ruth was faithful in the little things and she chose to continue within her commitment; this did not go unnoticed. We see Luke 16:10 at work within her story; trustworthy within the little things so that others knew that she would be trustworthy in the big things. New doors opened and a better way of life ahead

July 1, 2020January 17, 2021 CoffeeGirl.Blog

It has been said that wearing or not wearing a mask is a political statement. Not for me, it is common sense. In today's what I wore, I am wearing a mask.

Move

June 29, 2020January 17, 2021 CoffeeGirl.Blog

Literally and figuratively, I have to move. I have to physically move each day as I build strength and stamina; as well as moving toward my goal and moving toward the One who gives me life.

We lost another para at our school, so I am without one in any of my classes. Thirty plus students with several on IEPs/ 504s and English Language learners. I needed a way to bring them together quickly for individual work and partner work time so I purchased this counter height table that would allow these students to come receive help/ have stuff read to them without too much hassle.

♥️Let’s spread some love today as we connect with educators who are passionate about teaching♥️Grow your following by completing these steps:
Made another batch of Baked Waffle Sticks because they are simple to make and scrumptious to eat. Because it is Valentines Day I substituted milk for International Delight’s White Chocolate Raspberry Creamer. They are absolutely incredible, no syrup was needed ♥️
I absolutely love to cook and bake. I may actually enjoy the art of planning and preparing the food more than I love eating it. I spend many hours watching cooking shows, scouring Pinterest for new recipes, thumbing through my favorite cookbooks, and then putting together simple & scrumptious meal plans for my family to enjoy.
Feet Up Friday! Have a phenomenal weekend everyone ♥️☕️🤩
